Saitek X52 Profiles.

Big fan of IL-2 myself.
Probably 1000's of hours with all the mods.

I have an older X-45 but always find that profiles are so personalized, that I end up having to make my own. What I like never suits another pilot and vica-versa.

Me flying with a mate from quite a few years ago - I'm in "G-APO"  ;-)

There's no TFAR keys that I think is essential to have. I use the second hat on stick for TFAR, Down for local, right for longrange, up for alt LR, left for shortrange.
Before TrackIR I used the ministick to look around and D for enable/ disable freelook.
when you add these  I'll let you fly on pub ;) If you can solve toddlers blockbox logic puzzle, you can use the profile editor. Just add a macro to button and match it on your ARMA keybindings. Use mouse2 for advanced options.
I can't send my profile because mine is PRO version of x52 and I have custom keybindings for ARMA + Scandic keyboard layout.

I have a X52 and I have no problems with butting short and long wave radios on the E and C Button of the Thruststick.

There is no war to end all wars.

query on TFAR though, how do you mean local? i get short range and using two long range sets (one on back, other in vehicle) but is there an internal intercom for things like the chinook etc?

Local is your normal direct talk. And no, there's a feature TFAR that you can have main- and additional channel on one radio.

Here's an example radio setup. Shortrange for crew intercom. Longrage main- ch for air to ground coms, Longrange alt- ch for air to coms.

Apollo, every time i saw you go Inverted in that plane i expected the engine to sputter and starve. i've spent too much time in my beloved hurricane.

Those Germans in their Bf109-E's with fuel injection and negative g 'bunts' to escape, drat them all!

Throttle issue
Not sure if it's still the same fix after recent updates, but I use an X45 without problems.
