Loading yes, but my loading is not that bad. Are just quicker loading times in games worth fiddling around and having a single game from steam installed on a different HD?

Theres not really any fiddling, Steam is quite smart at using multiple HD's, my library is spread over 3 (1HD and 2 SSD's) its pretty straight forward and the benefits are measurable

SSD arrived. However Samsung decided they would rather not include the right cables for the job.

Aynone knows how or if I can use the migration software from the samsung SSD for just moving over a single partition of a HD? I have two other HD's and one of it has two partitions. One is containing the System drive and the other one is containing stuff like games and music. So far it looks like the software from samsung is not able to move partitions and only the entire drive.

Disregard the last one. The migration software just has a very bad german translation and does things a bit weirdly. Basically you have to attempt to migrate the entire HD and when it fails because it is too big. You can select the actual partition.

For f**k sake.

Turns out that my key for Windows 10 does not work anymore. It was a old and legit Windows 7 key that was upgraded for Windows 10. For Microsoft changing the HD type means "new pc" which also meand new the old key is not valid anymore......

I guess nobody has a spare win10 license or a win7 key lying around?

Can you not call them and explain... I understood the MS telephone support line would accept small changes like what you have described ?
