PW6

Tried to update to latest. It wouldn't and kept crashing.

Downloaded from PW6 and now it won't install.


Arrrghhh

Sorted, had to completely purge it from my system including local appdata before it would install.

robbie, i'm where you are just now, what did you do to fix it? can you pm me?  i'm off to work from 12 till 000 so i'll grab a look when i get in

C drive. Users. Your user. Appdata. Local. Delete any files that are play with six.

yup, moved again cause it aint there ffs

any ideas?

To reset PWS delete all of the following folders (if they exist)  

C:\Users\userid\AppData\Local\PlaywithSix
C:\Users\userid\AppData\Local\PlaywithSixbeta
C:\Users\userid\AppData\Local\Six Networks

C:\Users\userid\AppData\Roaming\PlaywithSix
C:\Users\userid\AppData\Roaming\PlaywithSixbeta
C:\Users\userid\AppData\Roaming\Six Networks

Then reinstall PWS.

My PWS was taking 5-10 mins to launch, and would repeatedly fail.  This appears to have resolved all issues.

But be warned you'll loose any collections.

As long as your mods are not kept in them folders (which they shouldn't) you won't have to re download them. Once pw6 (latest version) is reinstalled, adding the 3cb repo should have it all fixed in a jiffy

Just tried it and it does seem to be working ok for me

still doesnt work, even after me and robbie spent an hour working at it.  pws support told me to email them logs which i did over a week ago and now they arent answering emails or forums.
