Perpetual Loading


Hey,

Recently tried to join the server, ended up loading for about 5 minutes each time before trying again, tried around 3 times. As shown here, arma was using 0% CPU and was running at a super low framerate for a loading screen.

Could this be an issue with my arma3sync or something?

You MUST fire up steam first...

Had Steam running way before A3Sync, I'll try running up vanilla arma first and then trying to join and let you know how it goes.

Yup, vanilla ArmA launches fine, just tried connecting again and I'm on the exact same screen with the exact same CPU usage.

Is this with the public server repo?  

If so, it may sound strange, but have you tried hitting either the enter key or escape.  Very occasionally arma seems to have an issue initialisng the mods and moving to the next menu screen.

Yeah, this is the public repo. I'll have a go now, I should've tried that actually, typical arma ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Pressing Esc just throws me out onto the main menu, but at least I know it's actually responding now

From the main menu, can you try connecting manually to the server through the browser? Or does that also hang?

Tried that, it just returned no found servers if I use the IP and port through the remote button in the bottom right
