SSD Issue
Hello Guys,
Hoping some of you tech savvy people could help me out.
Essentially, every time I boot my PC, it says that is unable to find boot device blah blah blah. You can view the error below:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QHcHVtnDYaUBelow I will explain the step's I've taken so far.
- Boot PC and got the BIOS up via the Del key.
- Checked to see if my PC was booting in AHCI. (It was already in this mode)
- Checked to see if my Boot Sequence detected my SSD. (My boot sequence was as followed: 1 - CD Drive, 2 - HDD, 3 - Boot Agent) (My M.2 SSD wasn't even in the boot sequence)
- I then reset my BIOS to the last known good config. (And that's where things get worse)
I can tell from step 3 that my BIOS isn't detecting my SSD. At step 4, I reset my BIOS to the last known good config. When I tried to boot again, I got a similar boot message which was:
"Reboot and Select proper Boot Device
or Insert Boot Media in selected Boot device and press a key"
From all these steps, I believe that my SSD is fried.
Now, I had exactly the same issue, same error, same symptoms in May. I sent off my PC to DinoPC and they replaced the faulty SSD with another SSD. My warranty has probably expired from now, do you think they would replace it still as it's only just 6 months old?
