ah ... the good old CMS ( Combat Medical System ) flowchart :)

.. yeah CMS was a big part of CSE and GlowBall is also part of the ACE3 development team, but ace also has IV's to work on the blood-pressure that are missing in this chart.

thats odd since CSM also had these IV's but the flowchart suggests morphine and epi to adjust blood-pressure =/

Atropine will increase heart rate if it is below 40 beats but decrease it if it is above 40 so no if there at 80 apply a epi after morphine. Its a bad practice that people have got into due to AGM the only time you should give morphine is if someone has a really bad pulsing pain on screen (fast white flash) if they have only had one wound to the leg for example tell them to man up and get on with it pain is on a timer and subsided after around 5 min.
Its an ACE'ism as in reality of battle field medicine atropine is used to block the receptors that allow nerve agents to  work on the body however it is used in civilian world in small doses to help with some heart conditions.

Indeed.

The ammount and usage of morphine in AGM was sometimes a bit comical. However it is worth mentioning that somebody who is unconcious in the current settings might not wake up because he is in pain and you have to apply morphine to him. Of course you have to make sure he is stabailized enough before you do that.

thats just an educational problem.

people are used to agm ... 'your in Pain' ==> 'use Morphine' ... and if you dont know better people just do what they know or seem to know in this case =)

2 people who know best or think to know best =) should have a little test session at the firing range preferably with a training stuff member. start figuring out how everything works and design 20..40 min training session based on their findings

did that now allready 3 times and its allways an 45min to 2h endeavor =/

...... so if you need some help figuring out how the medical system work / someone to shoot at =) feel free to ask i'm all up for that

I am quite sure the training staff is doing this already.

ACE3 got a quick update. They also made some small changes to the medical system.

Quote:
Changed
PAK treatment time accounts for damage healed
Increased duration of morphine effect
Made atropine less effective
Morphine now only suppresses pain by default

Fixed
Unloading units from various vehicles
Random teleport when dragging/carrying inside of buildings
Random body bag teleport
Incorrect handling of falling and vehicle crash damage
Capacity of bloodbags was ignored during transfusions
Medical - Litter spawning all over the place
Pain effect was visible when unconscious

Added
Surgical Kit treatment
New extension to improve the performance of adv. medical
Adv. Medical module options to make morphine remove pain and bandages heal hitpoints
Medical setting to consider remote controlled units as players or not

Full changelog can be found [url=https://github.com/acemod/ACE3/releases/tag/v3.1.1[/url]

So now big changes in this version, biggest change regarding the medical system that using a PAK on somebody who is badly injured will now take longer. Beside that some welcomes fixed like the issues with dragging resulting in teleports.

Still broke when it comes to taking people out of vehicles = you go unconscious in most = death.

thats a known issue to the ACE3 team, as listed on thier relaese notes

.. they state 'If you have identified the 3rd-Party mod that causes ACE Interaction to break, contact the developer and ask them to support the CBA XEH. They can contact CBA Devs for help.'

the problem dosnt exist in the vanilla vehicles but looks the the '3rd-Party developer are lagging abit =/

quick and dirty sollution would be 'back to vanilla vehicles' or iron out the kinks that we have in 'our own stuff'

Since it should be easy to locate in which vehicles it happens, it should not be too hard to find out which pack is causing the
problems.

Oooo nice. CBA have released a fix for this - there's an optional PBO in CBA (cba_enable_auto_xeh.pbo) that apparently adds interaction for all 3rd party vehicles. All we have to do is throw it in with the 3CB Config. Will do until mod authors pull their socks up.
