Instant healing bug?

So we started to notice something weird yesterday with the vanilla medical system. At first I thought it might have been the mission or the mods we were running, but no...

Load up vanilla A3, no mods.

Place down a playable NATO rifleman and an AI NATO rifleman in the Editor.
Click preview - shoot the AI in the leg with a pistol. Heal him. Normal healing animation, takes some time.

Save As to multiplayer missions.

Start a local multiplayer server, select the mission.
Repeat the shooting incident.
Heal the AI - instant heal, no animation. What?!

Can someone else replicate this?

Nice one Midnight.

Confirmed, the bug occurs when healing while holding a pistol.
Doesn't matter what the damage mechanism was.
