Somebody check the constellations and see if they make any sense.

Wonder if the image there is from the actual map. If so, guessing another island after giving the brightness and contrast a bit of a kick. 

I'd agree with you if Arma was published by EA. BI are the good guys

In the Marksmen DLC you get proper weapon resting/deployment, improved recoil & AI suppression, and sound enhancements - all for free.

The weapons aren't really to my taste, but then again it doesn't matter, because I can still play on servers that use it (unlike Battlefield, for example, where you can't join any DLC servers unless you buy the DLC). If it were EA - they'd charge £20. With BI, you don't have to pay a thing if you don't want the weapons but still want all the cool features.

Don't forget, the Expansion isn't just about a new map - that's only part of it.

If that's the case RDogg, we could do a little hunt for Aussie/Kiwi voice actors - if Arma is in their list of credits, we're on a winner . 

Edit: From a logical standpoint - not sure about the Solomon Islands though. That would suggest Indonesia is the likely aggressor, which would also imply that PNG has fallen - which is highly unlikely to happen without intervention from Aus. Plus, can't imagine defending the Solomon islands would be the primary goal by that point.

Maybe something more like Ko Samui? Gateway to the South Pacific and Indian Ocean, with China as a realistic aggressor. 230 km2 (25km length / 21km width), main airport, number of large towns and cities, with a good covering of forest and coast line. 

I was sure it would be more desert - though jungle is most welcome if the engine can handle it .

What if it is not a seashore at all? What if it is actually a lake and they managed to get ponds and rivers in the game?
