Helmets, yes or no?

On public, like Dwayne said, you can wear anything BLUFOR, so don't look like a Russian, Taliban etc. On Private Ops you are limited to helmet or beret, and most of the people will shout at you if you don't wear a helmet, I'll be the first one to raise my voice
Unless the Op scenario says otherwise you use your own sides gear, with limitations.

Just remember the helmet does have ballistic protection. A shemag does not;-)

Wearing a helmet with protection, will reduce the damage on the relevant hitzone. This will turn a 100% fatal hit in something that might not kill you.

Arka's proud of that video because it's the only one where the enemy killed his team mate before he did.

A bit OT:

I don't play [as] much [as I would like] on the public server, let alone ops, so I hope when I go on it's as sim as it could be. So, I have to admit I get a little bit pissed at some of the fancy dressing and general farting about (shooting each other at the base etc., etc, &c). I must also admit to some near, "accidental", blue-on-blue, just to make the point: "oops, sorry mate, didn't recognise you in those PJs".

I know I don't really have the right to rant, and I really, really appreciate the server and the hard work keeping it up and viable. I just wish others would have the the same admiration and respect of you lot... <3 u
