would this be a nice mod to improve using boats 

We looked at this before and it was unreliable, however that was some time ago. 

Has anyone checked that the RPT's  are clear?

Well it does explain how to check RPT files (steps 4 - 9) so there is a point. I think the thread should be updated if it is to remain sticked however. Maybe someone here could link/ host a download for the mission dumper. Alternatively just place down all the objects this mod adds which shouldn't be too many in this case (I haven't looked) and interact with the features of the addon.

In A3Sync ensure "no logs" is unticked.

Then load the mod into Arma, and use it.

Locate the RPT file.  Its usually located in C:\Users\<insert your user name>\AppData\Local\Arma 3

Open the RPT and look for any messages related to the Paddle mod.

how do i load the mod into arma if i start the game up using arma 3 sync with the 3cb repository or does it work the same using arma 3 launcher 

In ArmaA3Sync in addon directories make sure you are searching where the addon is downloaded to for a steam mod like this the location will be something like: Somthing\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Arma 3\!Workshop.

In the Addons tab drag the !Workshop folder from "Available Addons" to "Addon groups". (Thats how I do it at least)

Make sure "Join server is blank"

Select the mods you want and hit start game
