Mod Show and Tell


I haven't been around for a while, so my opinions on this might be a bit stale, but, my 2 pennys: I like the idea of having a thread available to keep mod suggestions all in one place and easy to review, as well as just keeping the forums tidier in general. But, I think until we have a bug and crash free core set of mods that give us the basic functionality that we want in game, it might not be the best to try push more new mods onto the server? I'm all for more variety, the vast amount of options available through mods are what keeps this series alive for me, so it would be great to keep this thread running even to get a "watchlist" for mods we could be interested in using once we get things like med systems and uniforms sorted.

But, as I said, I havent played in ages so I might be a bit out of the loop!

So that we're clear, no mod requests are being ignored.

However, currently we've got a lot going on - preparing our @3cb.. mod release and dealing with the @agm possible instability issue is taking up 100% of my time and many others.
So if you feel like your mod request over the last week or so has been ignored, apologies, it will be picked up and looked at in due course.

This thread is a great idea, the form suggestion is also excellent.

As far as who does what, I'm heading up the testing/acceptance part (using the public server as a large-player count 24/7 test bed), and I take my lead from what mods Serjames suggests we should look at next. He of course listens to what you guys want. Mods that have passed the public server test get 'accepted' and added to our "approved mod list" where they can be used by mission designers for Op's.

We're still fighting our way through Stage 2 on the Roadmap - this is our priority. We can't put on additional mods while we have instability on the server, so our next step is unfortunately going to be backwards, trying to isolate whether AGM is at fault or if something else is going on. Once we have found the issue (and hopefully reinstated AGM), we will have a stable base from which to move forward with all your suggestions.

So I'm in favour of this, but you'll need to be patient with us please, we're working as hard as we can for you!
