Mh, if this is genuine, I guess we'll just fork @AGM and continue on...

I don't think ACE would be a reason for people to stop working  on their mods, after all AGM and CSE are already 'competing' mods I just can't quite seem them throwing in the town (edit: that's what you get for typing in a phone...)  just because a third mod comes along.

If it  is indeed a joke it would be a pretty good April fools, the early posting gives it just enough uncertainty + the 'MANW' drama gives a semi-plausable (if you're the drama happy type) reason.

To be honest, I really don't care either way.. That's the great thing about open source... It cuts out a lot of the drama :)

I still think and hope it is a aprils fools joke.

Not so much for AGM but for CSE. I would not be suprised if the collossal asshole that Koffeinflummi is, would actually be so mad about not winning anything that he is shutting it down.

I'm hoping for ACE3. There's been a lot of proof for it, including dslyecxi's statement on Shactac's use of AGM or CSE: "Dslyecxi addressed the question of why ShackTac had not been using either CSE or AGM. He said something was going to happen after MANW, and that's what ShackTac was going to use." Along with the hints of ACE with the bananas' etc. This is either a really bad April Fools, or there's something bigger on the way imo.

You guys have probably already seen this: http://ace3mod.com/

According to who.is, it's registered to someone called Walter Pearce. A quick google search of "Walter Pearce Arma" returns some Arma videos. Quite interesting. Regardless of the outcome, I'm intrigued to see how this all unfolds.

EDIT:
Ignore me. The email used to register the domain was jaynus@gmail.com, which is the creator of JayArma2Lib. I also believe Jaynus was on board with ACRE.

I am literally reposting from /r/arma, but the CSE and AGM devs were added to the dev list of ACE today:

So Brink comes along and gets us all hyped for ACE.. Maybe his an insider...? ;)

But yeah that is very interesting indeed.
I wish I did know what was coming :P But really, I just super like what ACE adds, and adding AGM and CSE to that would be the best thing to happen since the announcement of Arma 3. The realism mod to end all realism mods, so to speak :D

And there was this countdown clock posted by /u/banana1415 on reddit. ACE2 had a hidden banana, 1/4/15. This is the same guy posting videos like bananas falling from the sky in game. And the/one of the ACE2 devs, NouberNou almost immediately replied to /u/banana1415's video, "The Future". If this isn't ACE3 I will record myself eating a hat.
