ACE3 Announced!

I said this on the BI forums but I'll say it again here :
I am impressed by the willingness of the mod authors to collaborate (especially @CSE, since they weren't even open source before) and give up their own mods and associated control in favour of making a better mod for all of us. 

This is something that happens much too rarely and it's great to see this!

Yeah you can do all that to make it real  But in the end still April the 1st!

I'm so excited.

I never played with ACE as I joined after the switch to arma3 but with those 3 modding teams working together I can't just help but be excited. Less than a week till marksman DLC and within the month lots of exciting mods to released. Fun fun times

Yeah they said that after the marksman DLC is released CBA are doing an update and once that is done they will release.

It is a fair comment that unless it passes the "Apollo" test it is not worthy of 3CB. Just means we keep using AGM it until it is free of errors. Ie when arma 4 comes out.

Mh, they've been working on it for some time, so hopefully it's not too bad. I'm not expecting too much of the very first release, though!
AGM should continue to work after the marksman update, so we have until at least the next big game update before we're really going to have to switch over.
Hopefully, by that time, ACE3 will have had enough feedback and bug-fixing to get 3CB-certified.
