3CB Equipment Pack - Feedback and Bug Reports

mayor issue atm .. is that the 3CB Equipment Pack it not applied to the public server yet 

for the bit one can see on the movie and in the pictures it looks awesome and i'm looking forward to get my hands on it =) 


now for the testings of stuff 

• Bergen MTP Rifleman L (D) [BAF] has the same Load ( Space availible ) as the *(C) version .. by the sceme of the A B and C, suggests D should be bigger =)
• all Radio Backpacks use the same Long Range Radio 'RT-1523G'
  for the JTAC/FAC ( Bergen JTAG/FAC * [BAF] ) a 'Real Long Range  AN/ARC-210, its been used before in larger maps when the RT-1523G just wont do the trick
  TFR holds that Option as a Long Range Radio/BackPack http://radio.task-force.ru/en/#readme-item-3
• Combat T-Shirt MTP [BAF] and Combat T-Shirt MTP RM [BAF] Look the same since the 'arm patch' isnt there due to the 'shirt only' nature 
• Heli Pilot Flight Suit RAF/RN [BAF] have map and flightplan added .. flightplan is upside down when read from a seated possition ( very anal and neglegtable ) not sure if same problem with map since its unrecogniseable
• Some Helmets + NVG's have Cliping errors .. 
• Tactical Glasses *  [BAF] .. all have the same inventory icon and it has a 1pixel white border in the inventory menu
• AN/PEQ-1 SOFLAM .. has a 1pixel white boarder in the inventory menu

now enought pickiness for today, its a great mod and i like how mutch effort you guys put in it keep up the good work and / or enjoy the weekend

I think the main reason is that we have new classnames and all the maps need to be adjusted first.


Actual feedback now:

- I see that the kneepads are actually included in the helmet. I would have liked to see it as a uniform option. This would give you more options
- Big AT- Launchers can be quity glitchy when using a big 3CB Backpack.

Unfortunately the uniforms are retextured A3 models, which BI have not released. Hence we can't add via the uniforms. Originally the guys had them added to the glasses, however civilians tended to don these also, which looked quite odd as they're made to fit the Ind. gear first and foremost . Ultimately this was the best fix after Lifetap and Evrik exhausted every other solution. 

As far as I know the 3cb equipment mod is not even in the public repo yet.

The statics are designed to be empty.  Only the ones in the editor have a single magazine, and that's just to aid the AI.  You can unload them, and it appears on the ground.  Same result if you disassemble them.  However the more rounds you use in a magazine the less chance it has of being unloaded.  This is to prevent players "magicing" ammo.

All weapons that you build have zero rounds in them.  Its deliberate to encourage realistic use of the weapons.  You need a large empty backpack to carry the ammo.

There are a number of ammo creates in the mod, which can be Zeus'd in to make the work a little easier.

Plus we have the beret so if we ever need some parade / barracks shots for promo material, we have the black coverall. However, if you think an MTP version might be better for the field, it can probably be added in fairly easily.

Noah we can certainly look at getting MTP overalls into a future update. I'll add it to the list.

Just to add to Evrik's comment on the black RTR overalls.  We have been aware for some time that they do not use these in combat, however not all clans use our equipment and weapons purely combat ops.  You'd be surprised at how much interest there was in the blank rounds and BFA in the weapons pack.  The simple answer is, that we had them, they are representative of RTR barrack uniforms so they have a place in the pack.
