CUP Weapons

Which British weapons in the CUP pack do you think are better quality than the ones found in this pack?

Right now I see no point considering to use CUP Weapons. It might be different if we at one point would use CUP_Units as a mod for OPFOR.

You don't think the 3CB pack as vastly superior textures compared to everything else?

The difference was striking for me when they were first released.

To be fair our modders spend a lot of time making our weapons and it is not just how the weapons look, they also put a lot of time in making them balanced and as a result working properly in the game. Most weapons that are in CUP are already coveredin other mods we use and 90% of the weapons in CUP would be used anyway by players. The biggest use I would see for CUP Weapons is as a depency for CUP Units if they turn out to be good. I would really like the idea of having "one mods" for OPFOR Factions. But that is something that the future has to show.

Personally I hate the cup weapons.
Most of them are poor quality ports and not fit for arma 3. The scale is massively off on quite a few and the textures on all of them needs serious improvement. They don't handle very nice and seem to have no weight.

Anyway, I'll get off that fence before I get splinters in my bum.

In all seriousness other than an update bugging out was there another reason we got rid of the RH m4s?

According to the RHS list of contributors, RH gave them a lot of US weapons. Are none of his in the RHS US pack?

Also, the mod team is working on an Opfor pack for future use. It will make use of RHS as a dependency, but will include vehicles that they don't have. It will allow us to remove the Massi packs and Leights when complete.

Is that the one where they have loads of optics (retcles an magnifications) but shoehorned into vanilla models?
