Chopping Trees

In todays patrol op i thought about this again, and it would be really nice to have something (like an axe) that allows infantrie to chop down trees.
sometimes we use vehicles (if available) to get rid of trees thats blocking the view from our positions, but thats far from pratical tbh.



I looked around but didnt find any specific mod (apart from exile, desolation and co) that would allows us to chop down trees.
does anybody know somethign we could use for that or should i make a feature request to our inhouse mod team (baf equipment)?

I think the locals tend to take offense if you lop down their orchard each patrol

i dont think they really care about their environment, just have a look how much rubbish theyve laying around at the roads

it would be really useful on some maps to create HLSs

There's a way to do that already, and it's the same method the Americans use: C4.

We've tried that before on Song Bin Tanh and the trees do not shift

Seriously though, this should be doable - I'm just surprised given the dislike for entrenching that forestry would desired.

Im not exactly against the entrenching tool, I just don't like the way it works. The same could be the case, depending on how the tool would work.

In regards of operations, it would also have to fit into the scenario. I doubt soldiers would start to chop down trees, when a enemy attack could happen at any moment,
