Cannot load public server, hangs on Apex screen

Hey Hovis,

sounds like you have the old IP in your arma3sync.
Make sure you delete all 3cb servers from the online tab and refresh the repo on the repositorys tab (the green arrow circle button).

the actual ip should be "game.3commandobrigade.com"

if that is still not working, try to connect to the server, close arma, goto to "%localappdata%\Arma 3", upload the latest rpt to https://hastebin.com and paste the link to it here.

Those 14gb might include some things that you don't need for the public. The @unsung mod was added just for some Vietnam era stuff that was going on recently.
It was quite a sizeable mod but you can delete it if you don't want it or if you need to save some space.

Also there was some mods added today for a joint op we are doing with another group soon, so any of the mods in the repo that start with @ga_  you won't need for the public server either.

 

As rev said this is commonly caused by connecting to an old IP or to the IP of a server that is not online. If you get stuck on that screen again pressing ESC a few times normally puts you on the main menu,
